There are a number of simple ways to start your search.
1. Title search: select the 'Title option' from the drop down menu and type in the correct title.
E.g. Children's Literature: a very short introduction
Many fiction items can be found in the Library catalogue Here are some examples:
Common title? Add extra information (e.g. author's surname), or try the Advanced Search.
2. Topic search: enter key terms such as: "children's literature" history
Use double quotes to search for phrases e.g. "children's literature"

You can refine the results by selecting a range of subjects from the Subject option located in the left hand menu.
Start with a subject search in the catalogue. Use one of your key concepts in the search field and then change the drop down box to Subject.
