What is a scholarly book?

Look for the clues:

Clue 1: Specialised publisher in the field, for example a University press.

   Clue 2Reputable author/creator: Look for the author's qualifications. 

   Clue 3:  Includes cited references and bibliography.

There are two ways to search for Library books: use the Library Catalogue or find books on the shelf. Try searching for the subject words below. You will find the call number and although the words may not be in the title you may find chapters on the relevant subject.
