Living Black is Australia’s premier Aboriginal current affairs program. Hosted by Karla Grant, the half-hour show provides timely, intelligent and comprehensive coverage of the issues affecting the Aboriginal community. It reports many stories largely ignored by the mainstream media.
However, Living Black is not just for Aboriginal viewers. The program also informs a wider audience about contemporary Aboriginal issues, and why they matter to all Australians.

A dedicated Aboriginal television service is now available for all Australians free to air. NITV, National Indigenous Television is broadcasting on Channel 34 (free to air).
National Indigenous Television (NITV) is a channel made by, for and about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
NITV informs, educates and entertains its Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal audiences about the issues that matter the most to Aboriginal Australians. NITV provides a rich diversity of cultures, languages and talent.
The channel commissions or acquires content primarily from the Aboriginal production sector. NITV is proud to host the only daily national news service covering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island stories across the country.
Film platform includes a number of resources on colonialism, African cinema and culture, Native American History, Anthropology and Sociology.
australianscreen (ASO) is operated by the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA). It is a promotional and educational resource providing free online access to information about the Australian film and television industry.

Awaye! is produced and presented by Aboriginal broadcasters and is Australia's only national Indigenous arts and culture program. Awaye! covers music (from the yidaki and gumleaf to techno), arts, spirituality, politics, dance, literature, theatre - in short, the healthy and vibrant diversity of Aboriginal culture across the country.
Awaye! is also a showcase for features and documentaries produced by indigenous people overseas, including Maori, Polynesian, native American and South African broadcasters.
