Some of your case studies may refer to issues in specific countries or regions. This guide will also show you how to search for country information.

 Tip: A great place to always start when researching a company is a visit to their website and look for things like 'about us' or 'our story' 

3. Find Information

Business Source Complete provides information covering all areas of business including country economic reports as well as detailed company profiles.

Tip: You can limit your search by date range and to Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals from the box on the left hand side of the results screen.

Passport GMID

Passport GMID is a global market research database.

You can find country reports on Business Dynamics, Economy, Finance and Trade, and more.

  1. On the Home Page, hover over Economies from the top menu and select a category
  2. Scroll down to Country Reports
  3. Select the category and geography. Select GO.World

4. Library Catalogue

The Library Catalogue is a useful tool for locating academic references, including articles in scholarly journals and industry magazines.

Tip - use the filters on the left hand side to:

  • Limit to articles from Peer Reviewed publications 
  • Limit by Date eg 2015 to 2021
  • See the full text for many items by selecting the title, then look for the Online link

5. COVID-19 Information

Find COVID-19 information using key company and industry databases.

6. Google Scholar

Google Scholar searches only within academic or scholarly sites, rather than over the whole internet like a regular Google Search. By accessing Google Scholar from within the library website you will be able to link directly to articles that the Library has access to by clicking on the Full-text at UniSA link

Contains:
  • Industry statistics from market, trade, scientific, and government sources
  • Free to publish charts in presentations, website and marketing materials
  • Download diagrams as Graphic (PNG), Excel (XLS), PowerPoint (PPT) or PDF
  • Infographics - visualise current topics
  • Advanced search - sort results by date, category and region
