What is aphasia?
Aphasia refers to a neurological disorder caused by damage to the brain. It can affect people's ability to speak, understand speech and read and write.

- Aphasia CommunityThe Aphasia Community website was created to allow people in Australia with aphasia to become aware of upcoming events and connect with other people with aphasia, facilitate information sharing about aphasia groups and to improve understanding of best practice.
- Australian Aphasia AssociationThe Australian Aphasia Association hosts online conferences where people with aphasia can share advice, support and learn from each other. They also provide helpful online resources on aphasia and host an aphasia discussion board.
- EnableMeEnableMe is a resource to support people with stroke recovery. Stroke survivors can interact with and seek the support of other people who have gone through a stroke recovery journey.
