  • What type(s) of data will you generate?
  • Is the data sensitive?
  • What permissions (consent) related to the data? How will this effect storage?
  • Who do you want to have access to the data?
  • How will you send or make available the data?
  • Will the data be used on mobile devices? How secure are they?
  • What level of access do you want collaborators to have?
  • Do you want version control for your data?
  • Who is responsible for storing data?
  • Who will be backing up data, and how often?
  • How long do you have to store data for?
