Reading

To read online, select the ‘Start Reading Now’ button on the right-hand side of the screen. Alternatively, you can navigate an ebook by selecting the ‘view table of contents’ link underneath ‘Start Reading Now’ and click on the chapter title.

There are a series of icons on the right-hand side of the page which allow you to Search, Add to Playlist, Change font size and Share. Adding a title to a Playlist will allow you to continue reading from where you left off. You can access your Playlist by selecting the Your O’Reilly icon on the left-hand side of the page.

To access the table of contents while reading a particular chapter, click on the title of the book at the top of the page. This will generate a drop-down contents menu.

To read offline, download the O’Reilly mobile app for iOS or Android.

Searching

To search within an ebook, click on the magnifying glass icon on the right-hand side of the page.

Downloading

Downloading content is only available via the Mobile App for offline reading/viewing.

You will need to use the Mobile app to view/read the content once it's downloaded.

Printing

Printing is available using the browser print function not from the Mobile App or platform itself.

Users can also copy sections of text and paste into a notepad/word/google document and then print from the document they have created.

Highlighting and annotating

Dragging your cursor over text will generate an options box that will allow you to copy, add highlight and add note.

You will find all your annotated books on the Highlights page which you can access by selecting the Your O’Reilly icon on the left-hand side of the page.
