Reading

To read online, scroll down to the Contents and click on a chapter title.

Searching

The search box in the left hand side menu allows searching within the selected eBook title.

The search bar at the top of the page allows searching across the entire Oxford Academic platform.

Searches can be further refined using the options from the menu on the left hand side.

Downloading

PDFs of chapters may be saved to your own devices. Open the chapter using Download chapter (pdf), then agree to the Intellectual Property Rights by selecting Proceed. Use the Download option in your PDF viewer to save the file.

Printing

PDFs of chapters can be printed in whole or in part, using the print options in your PDF viewer.

Highlighting and annotating

This can be done on the online eBook by creating and signing in with a personal account. Highlight the selected text in the browser window, and select the Annotate pop up button to save the highlighting and/or write notes.

Highlighting and annotations can be created on downloaded files by using the comments feature on your saved PDFs.
