2. Company website

A good starting place to find company, product and promotional information is your company's website. Also look at social media profiles.

Tip: Many retailers have COVID-19 information on their websites

This guide will help you search the web and our databases to find company and industry information and market information

Tip: Company 360 is a useful database for Australian company information, do a simple search for your company's name 

4. Australian industry information

Start by doing a simple search on the home page for your company 



Look at the results list for this symbol to see if there is a company report.



For industry reports 

  1. Select Industry Research from the top menu on the home page > Australian Industry Reports (ANZSIC)
  2. Scroll down to the Retail Trade reports
  3. Select the report you are interested in (for example Supermarkets and Grocery Stores)
  4. Both the Australian Industry Research and Risk Rating Reports for your industry may contain information on COVID-19

  1. Select Industries from the top menu on the homepage
  2. Select Retailing
  3. Under Country reports select a category and then Australia as the geography

Business Source Ultimate is a large business database and is a good place to search for general marketing information. Below is an example search:

Tip: Limit your search to Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals and limit the publication date to the last 5 years


The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) promote competition and fair trading. Included on their website is COVID-19 information for both businesses and consumers.
